Full Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Habitant Adventure will warmly welcome you. You will then be driven to the accommodations we made for you in Arusha, where you can relax and prepare for the exciting safari ahead!

Begin your day with a satisfying breakfast and a brief overview of the trip ahead. Afterward, you will be picked up from your lodging and transported to Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive. Take in the breathtaking scenery along the way, with a diverse environment and unique vegetation zones, including ancient Baobab trees.

Embark on a game drive upon arrival at the park, exploring until late afternoon with a pause for a picnic lunch. The Tarangire River, the park’s main feature, sustains a variety of wildlife, such as giraffes, lions, antelopes, and zebras. Take in the stunning scenery and, after the game drive, return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

After witnessing the migration on the previous day, you have another opportunity for a wildlife spectacle. Following an early breakfast, head to the Ndutu region within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Depending on the season, follow the migration to witness the Wildebeest Calving Season between Ndutu Lake and Lake Masek.

Experience the transformation of the plains into calving grounds during January to March, a time when predators hunt young wildebeests. Enjoy a well-deserved lunch in the park and continue your game drive through Ndutu’s habitats until dusk. Your guide will then drive you to a lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On day four, you will set out on an exciting journey to the renowned southern plains of the Serengeti. After breakfast, drive through the endless plains, observing Africa’s diverse wildlife, including the “Big 5” and other grazers. A picnic lunch in the park will provide a welcome break before returning to your lodge in Ndutu for dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering stunning views of the Serengeti’s southern plains. After a half-day wildlife drive and a picnic lunch, proceed to the Ngorongoro crater rim, known for its migratory animals. Conclude the day with a hearty dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

Take off on an exploration of the massive Ngorongoro Crater after an early breakfast. Descend nearly 2,000 feet for a crater tour, witnessing a variety of animal species benefiting from a year-round water supply. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest dormant volcanic caldera, boasts a massive floor of approximately 100 square miles. Capture exceptional photos during the game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo pool. After your adventures, your guide will drive you to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

It was a wonderful experience, and we believe you had the best time of your life. Your tour guide will pick you up after a delicious breakfast and drive you to Arusha town.

You can do some activities along the way, such as taking a tour in Karatu or Mto wa Mbu, where you can visit local breweries and sample their brews, as well as explore the local markets and learn about their culture. After the excursions, enjoy a delicious lunch in Arusha before being escorted to the airport for your flight back home.
