Overview

After breakfast, your knowledgeable guide from Habitat Adventure will pick you up from your accommodation and take you for a 2- to 3-hour journey to Tarangire National Park.

At Tarangire National Park, the harsh sun drains the moisture from the landscape day after day of clear skies, turning the dirt a dusty red and making the wilted grass as brittle as straw.

The Tarangire River is only a shadow of what it was during the wet season, yet it is teeming with species. With the understanding that there is always water to drink, thirsty nomads have traveled hundreds of arid kilometers.

Game drives

You might witness wildlife during the game drive, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and several antelope and gazelle species.

Over 500 different bird species, including Ashy starlings, red and yellow barbets, red-bellied parrots, and speckle-fronted weavers, to name a few, may You will stop for lunch at a suitable picnic location before continuing with an afternoon game drive.
